Lying in the valley between Mt Glorious and Moreton Bay, the Pine Rivers area is truly a land for all seasons and all people, taking in estuarine river systems, lakes, pastoral landscape and tropical rain forest. SI Pine Rivers chose the Club Jewel as its identifying symbol. Members felt that it was significant to the local area, showing pine trees, the Pine River with a backdrop of the mountains close by.
