If you are a SISWP position holders at Federation, Region and Club level, this Webinar is designed for you to discuss and obtain feedback on the setting up of a SISWP Code of Conduct and Dispute Resolution informal procedures for complaints and disputes.

Key feedback will be summarised and the Code of Conduct and informal procedures will be further dealt with in a workshop at the upcoming SISWP IBM 2019.

The purpose of setting up a Code of Conduct is to identify key fundamental principles and standards to guide the actions of members and clubs. These ethical practices and acceptable standards are aimed at improving relationships between members and the reputation of SISWP, its Regions and Clubs.

Areas of importance are:

- Transparency, honesty, accountability and ethical behaviour

- Respect for each person's race, religion, ethnicity, culture and a spirit of inclusiveness

- Any bullying or threatening behaviour should be addressed

- What are the procedures to be adopted in the event of breach of the code?

- Is a mediator the best way to resolve issues/ complaints? Who should this be?

- What are possible action to be taken in the event of breach of the code?

- Who is the final decision maker?

- Any other areas to be addressed.
